Jeffrey T. Photiades (1966-2023)
Founder of PWM
Jeff Photiades began his career with Northwestern Mutual in 1990 and established what is now Photiades Wealth Management. Throughout his career, he helped his clients gain peace of mind in their lives financially and personally by providing the support they needed. His approach to the business gained him several credentials and awards, most notably, qualifying for the Northwestern Mutual Forum list of top performers sixteen years in a row. Jeff also served as President of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Representatives Association from 2021-2022.
Jeff had a passion for helping others and cared deeply for his family, clients, the team and all those closest to him. He was a wonderful listener that had an optimistic outlook on life. With this, he shared his abundance of wisdom and gifts with the world throughout his life. His greatest gift was seeing the best in people, and more importantly, helping them realize the best in themselves so they could share it with the world.
Jeff loved traveling with his wife Lynn and daughters Kiersten and Kerra. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, loved spending time on the lake with his girls and was known to enjoy a good bottle of wine.
One of Jeff’s biggest passions was giving back to the community, which he did so often. Jeff was actively involved with Families in Transition of Manchester, NH, The American Heart Association, NHSPCA, led a youth confirmation group within his church and many more. Giving back locally was important to Jeff and he loved being able to make a difference in the community.
In 1995, Jeff hired Diane as his first Assistant and over the last twenty-seven years she helped Jeff build PWM to where it is today. James spent nine years working alongside Jeff and learned all aspects of financial planning from him. Jeff’s spirit and teachings will always be a part of PWM and each member of our team. Going forward, Diane Sizemore and James Buckley will be at the helm, continuing Jeff’s legacy, and the mission to “manage the process that helps you discover peace of mind.”
Sadly, Jeff passed away in January of 2023. He will be missed by his family, friends, team, clients, and colleagues.
